'Not All Classrooms Have Four Walls'

Robin Hood's Bay's cobbled streets, beach, rock pools and coastal environment provide the world's most natural outdoor classroom and curriculum to explore, discover and unwind. Used mostly by primary schools, The Old School House is also a great location for older students for practical curriculum linked, Duke of Edinburgh Award activities or revision groups. Whether it be rock pooling, fossil hunting, star gazing or cliff walking, Robin Hood's Bay has something all pupils and staff will benefit from. We can provide:

Accommodation and catering for school groups up to 36 on residential visits;

A venue for day visits for schools looking for non-residential educational visits and school trips;

Optional lessons covering the entire primary curriculum & an accredited beach schools programme.

HD Adventure are taking bookings at The Old School House from Autumn 2021. Prices range from £25 to £38 per pupil per night depending on season & catering with additional activities costing around £3 per pupil per session. Please give us a call or email us with your enquiry through the CONTACT tab.
